Delaware Valley Grantmakers builds stronger communities
by increasing the impact and effectiveness of philanthropy.

WHO WE SERVE
OUR MEMBERSHIP represents the full spectrum of grantmaking
entities, including: corporations/businesses, family and
independent foundations, community foundations and other
grantmaking public charities, donor-advised funds, and
individual donors. DVG membership includes over 150 members
representing more than 700 individual staff and trustees.

WHAT WE DO
Delaware Valley Grantmakers
works actively to help philanthropy strengthen and improve the
health and vitality of our communities. DVG is an association
of grantmakers in Greater Philadelphia and surrounding areas
that serves as a network for grantmaker connections and learning,
a resource on information for and about the region’s grantmakers,
and a voice to encourage and advocate for philanthropy.

REGIONAL FOCUS
Located in Philadelphia, DVG serves grantmakers who give
in the Greater Philadelphia region.
DVG is also pleased to serve grantmakers in neighboring regions,
such as Lancaster and the Lehigh Valley, as well as national
grantmakers who fund in southeastern Pennsylvania.

NATIONAL NETWORK
DVG is one of 32 staffed regional associations of grantmakers
operating in cities, states, and multi-state regions across
the U.S., all affiliated through a national alliance called
the Forum
of Regional Associations of Grantmakers. Combined,
these groups represent more than 4,000 grantmaking organizations
from all 50 states. DVG also has close working relationships
with other national associations serving the field of
philanthropy, including the Council on Foundations,
Independent Sector, National Center for Family Philanthropy,
and the Association of Small Foundations.
